This is my studio. Graduate students in theatre design and technology programs share this space in the basement, beneath two theaters. This basement, without sunlight, is a place of creativity for my peers and me. This is where we build set models, draw costume renderings, and film content for productions. Here, we as theatre makers discuss issues in our society and find the best way to address them. Here, we study how to present concepts to the public. We are a group of designers who explore the possibility of the arts and commit endless hours to working in this basement.
